These sweet little pups are two weeks old. They are pretty sleepy these days because growing into a full blown puppy is tough work!
They prefer quiet, cuddly time with mom these days and spend most of their time napping in between hitting the milk bar. They are just so sweet!
Life is new and exciting each day for these personality-plus happy go lucky puppies! They are definitely stealing our hearts more each day as they treat us to sweet puppy licky lick kisses….
The birds are returning to Koocanusa for another Spring and Brinkley's puppies are quite excited..so are we!
They are getting so playful that this week we hope to have them out on the deck for a short time each day in the sunshine. Their personalities are showing now and they are sooooo sweet, just like their mama...
These Brinkley puppies are up on their little legs already, waddling from point A to point B in a zig zag pattern...sooooo cute! Their eyes are open and life is so exciting for these adorable little gaffers. We look forward to lots of action in the next little while!
At 6 weeks these River puppies are becoming quite independent and confident. They adjust very well to new situations and are such darling little rascals. At 7 weeks we will temperament test them and the excited families will learn who their newest furry friend will be !!
6 weeks has passed by so quickly and these little munchkins are growing sweeter every day. They love to romp around the kitchen table and catch each others tails! When I do the dishes, there is always one or more sweetums trying to crawl up my leg or chew my toe off! Never a dull moment and we love it!!!
Such bouncy, fun loving, licky puppies! River has again produced a wonderful batch of the sweetest little puppies. They are personality plus and cute as cute can be!
Greet & Meet...yes, this littles love to be held and cuddled by everyone. As soon as they hear someone coming towards them they immediately stop what they are doing and come bouncing over for attention. There little personalities are definitely showing now!
We are sooooo loving these sweet, sweet Twiggy puppies. Look at their beautiful markings and personality plus little faces! This past week they have become accustomed to soft food 3 times a day and really enjoy it. Mama still spends lots of time with them, but when she takes a break they are starting to play with toys and love teasing each other...busy, fun times each day here at Koocanusa..
3 weeks old and things really get underway with these sweethearts. Today they had their first taste of soft solid food..".hummmm," they thought, "not bad, but not as good as Mama milk!"
We introduced the puppy litter box, however, they aren't sure yet what that is used for..but we know they will catch on soon...
River has outdone herself again producing such cute puppies! She is an outstanding mom and so loves her 4 little boys and 3 sweet girls. The puppies have enjoyed their 1st week here at Koocanusa even tho they just spend their days cuddling with Mama. This next week their eyes will start to open and then life really gets exciting...
These 5 little gaffers are keeping Mama Skye really busy...good thing they are on soft solids to help fill 'em up. The litter tray is a big hit!!...they are getting quite good at using it! They even went outside for an hour on the grass in the shade yesterday and enjoyed the new feel under their little paws.
Plump little roly poly puppies who are thriving so well on Mama Skye's milk and love....They are already quite active and can squiggle from one side of the bed to the other to find mama when it's time to eat.....
We are certainly getting "wowed" with this wonderful family of River & Moose...these fun loving littles are so friendly and just love everyone, giving sweet lick kisses and cuddles. They are finding that life here at Koocanusa is all about toys and fun! We look forward to their temperament testing next week...
The little fella on the tan blanket is Howie....he is the brother to 6 sisters! The girls are Honey, Hope, Hazel, Heidi, Hadley & Harlow, such an array of sweetness! In the first week they have become a little bit plumper and a whole lot sweeter. We look forward to fun times ahead here at Koocanusa.
