Happy New Years Eve!!!! And also a HUGE happy two-week mark to these gorgeous puppies! They are growing so fast these days, and mostly toddling about to get to and from the puppy pile to momma’s milk.
They don’t quite know how those legs work yet, but they are getting the hang of it! They are eyes wide open these days and the world looks BIG. We couldn’t be more proud of these puppies making it to this developmental stage with flying colours.
Our little Carson pups are all grown up! They’ve been allocated to their new forever homes and are heading there this weekend! It’s been an absolute blast with this litter and we are going to miss this so much when they leave, but it is soooo worth it.
Our favorite part of all we do here are Prairie Doodles is introducing our wonderful families to their new puppy. There are so many smiles, wagging tails, and happy tears and it is truly wonderful to see.

These beauties are already six weeks old and they’ve come a long way over the last couple of weeks and are really nailing puppyhood. In just one week, we will be temperament testing them and have already started taking notes on their personalities!
We know a few families who just can’t wait to find out which puppy matched best with them and honestly, we can’t wait either!
It seems like just yesterday these pups were born and they have already made it to their 5 week mark! How did that happen? These puppies are staying cozy this holiday season, and spending the days cuddling with Lucca and having playful romps around the house a few times a day!
They’ve been enjoying eating the “big pup” food these days and are nailing the potty training! Mom gets a little more “me time” too, but she is always close by!
We hope all of our families have an amazing holiday season!
And just like that…ONE WEEK OLD!
These babies are sleeping mostly these days, as well as waking up only to have some of momma’s milk. It’s been a big week for them in development.
They’ve already doubled in size and are sporting little full and chubby bellies. Lulu is such an incredible momma already.
These gorgeous puppies are just waltzing right into full-grown puppyhood! They are honestly such a sweet and happy litter and they are pretty darn proud of themselves these days, with how well they're eating their puppy kibble, drinking their freshwater from a big pup bowl, and even potty training. What can we say?
We are pretty proud of them too! This week we will be taking a lot of notes on each pup as we get ready for temperament testing next week! We know our families can hardly wait and neither can we! This is the fun part.

They are pretty independent these days, as they are pro’s at potty training, and have mostly weaned from momma, though she is alway close by just in case. We are so in love with out their coats are growing out as well!
These puppies have been allocated! We are so excited for our puppies and our families! We can’t wait to introduce them to one another over the weekend and see all the happy tears. These gorgeous pups have reached their half way to home milestone! How’d that happen?
They are getting the hang of the eating like a big pup these days, but are still getting a little milk from momma to top off their chubby bellies.
They are also figuring out the litter box training thing too! It takes a little practice, but they are well on their way to being full-grown puppies!
Lucca has been enjoying them a ton too, because they are a bit more playful these days!
These puppies are five weeks old and ready to take on the world! They’ve been spending a lot of time romping around the house and also falling asleep wherever they may feel like it, which takes the game “Hide and Seek” to a whole other level! LOL!
We are just loving these guys to pieces. They are also so sweet and full of cuddles. We couldn’t be more happy with this litter!

They are all very happy, calm, and cuddly pups. They are also doing amazing at eating like big pups now, though they still like a little milk from momma here and there. And they have potty training nailed down too!

Not only that, they will be introduced to their softened kibble, freshwater, and a litter box for potty training! They won’t quite get it at first, but by this time next week, they will be well on their way to being puppy pros!
These gorgeous pups have reached their halfway home milestone! Four weeks old is a huge week for the puppies.
They are developing more independence as they get used to eating softened kibble, drinking fresh water, and starting to use the litter box. Ginny is getting more breaks these days, but she stay close by to top their chunky bellies off with some warm milk if they are whining for you.
They have a bit more energy these days too and they aren’t quite sure what to do with it! Their bodies are a bit bigger than their head and their legs haven’t quite caught up yet because they are growing so fast.
We always giggle at this stage because it’s such an awkward time in their growth. Think Grade 2 photos! Haha. We love them so much already and are excited to see their personalities start shining through.
How did that happen?! These cuties are just one week shy of temperament testing, which is when we test them individually in new and familiar settings, with a stranger, as well as the person who has handled them most! We will get a little snapshot into their personalities, learn all about their confidence, resilience, and energy levels, as well as what motivates them the most for training.
Any guesses?
It’s PRAISE! Some are swayed by the treats we use, but most of our puppies are praise-motivated. This makes for a super loyal pup who will be your best sidekick for life. Treats are still appreciated though! LOL.

They are getting the hang of potty training now too! Can you believe it? We always giggle at the four week mark because the puppies are in such an awkward growth stage, their bodies are still quite chunky and their legs aren’t quite long enough, and they head is trying to catch up with their body!
It’s sort of like your Grade two photo in school! 😂
How did that happen?! We have had such a blast with these babies and love watching them bounce around happily with the kiddos for longer and longer play sessions each day!

Taking pictures is a little tougher these days as they like to tackle the phone and play more during the photoshoot, but it’s so darn cute to watch!
These sweet little pups are two weeks old. They are pretty sleepy these days because growing into a full blown puppy is tough work!
They prefer quiet, cuddly time with mom these days and spend most of their time napping in between hitting the milk bar. They are just so sweet!
And my oh my, what gorgeous coats they have!
We are absolutely in love with the way their markings are showing up. They are honestly such a cute litter! They are also doing amazing developmentally and growing more and more each day. Their eyes have opened fully and they are spending a little more time awake each day.
This week is a huge milestone for them as they will be introduced to softened puppy kibble, fresh water, and even litter box training! They won’t ace it on day one, but by this time next week they will be a bit more independent and comfortable with the new food and getting the hang of litter box training.
Ginny is one proud momma too!
